Genital mutilation is a traditional feature in other countries, which is the partial or total surgical removal of the external female genitalia. It is an ancient practice that has been perpetuated in many communities around the world, simply follow the customs that make up an important part of ceremonial rites of passage to adulthood. The primary objective of this mutilation, is to keep young people in the control of sexuality, but mostly of her virginity before marriage and chastity after marriage.
Another example is that of some African countries that rely on puberty ceremonies, in which girls undergo scarification (scarring caused by hot iron, caustic paste, etc.) In the womb, as a rite of passage not to be infertile; are scrapings in the womb, as x-ray of the baby, similar to those that were carved female figures (representations of the goddess), with dancing in fertility ceremonies.

Twitter history

Twitter started as a research and development within Obvious, LLC, a small start-up of San Francisco during March 2006. The original name of the product was twttr, inspired by Flickr. At first it was used internally by the company until it was officially released to the public in October of that year. The service quickly began to gain currency and in March 2007 won the South by Southwest Web Award in the category of blog.
Jack Dorsey is the father of this web application and current Chairman of the Board of Twitter, Inc, a company that grew out of Obvious, LLC and the success of Twitter. In early 2008, the Twitter team was composed of 18 persons in 2009 have increased its staff by four and still growing.
While Twitter was using for a short time advertising services like Google AdSense, decided to discard the advertising revenue to get more users, while funded with investments from venture capital firms. In September 2009, Twitter has announced changes to the terms of service, leaving open the possibility of advertising on their services.

On November 4, 2009, Twitter was set availability to Spanish and Spanish to a group after the October 8, 2009, the microblogging application published to translate it into Spanish, French, Italian and German. Then, the translation into Spanish was the first to culminate and be available to date. El Palacio de la Moncloa, the seat of the Spanish government and residence of the president of the executive, José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero, was one of the Twitter users congratulated for having relied on the possibilities of this service before it was released in Spanish.
